How to Apply for a Myanmar Visa
Foreign travelers who wish to visit Myanmar must have a valid passport. Depending on your nationality, you may also need to apply for a visa.
Visa Exemption (No Visa Required)
Citizens of the following countries do not need a visa for short visits:
· Brunei
· Cambodia
· Hong Kong (for tourism only)
· Indonesia
· Japan (for tourism only)
· Laos
· Macao (for tourism only)
· Philippines
· Singapore
· South Korea (for tourism only)
· Thailand (for air arrivals only)
· Vietnam
Visa exemptions allow stays for tourism or business, based on the terms and conditions set by Myanmar immigration authorities.
e-Visa (Electronic Visa)
Myanmar offers an e-Visa for both tourism and business purposes.
· Processing Time: Within 3 working days after application.
· Validity: 90 days from the date of issue.
· Length of Stay: Up to 28 days for tourism / up to 70 days for business.
· Fees:
· e-Visa (Business): USD 70
· e-Visa (Tourism): USD 50
· Children under 7 years old: Free

Important Note
